She suggested things that others had not, such as listing our home after we moved so as to eliminate our exposure to COVID. She also recommended doing inspections upfront, and that led to a quicker sales agreement and earlier closing. Clearly, Joanie came to the interview fully prepared. Others did not. Joanie is thorough, knowledgeable, and very understanding. She offered several approaches to the issues that arose during escrow. When a problem came up, she efficiently handled it. Her network of reliable contractors saved us thousands of dollars because Joanie insisted on a second opinion. For example, a questionable local roofing company’s inspection was not as dire as indicated. And, worse, a disreputable sewer company used bogus video to try to create a $10,000 sewer cleaning project. Joanie’s contractor clearly inspected our sewer system. The video showed no problems, and he charged only $255 for his efforts. Joanie is a credit to her profession. She instills confidence, effectively handles issues, and makes such a personal experience as selling one’s family home seem effortless.
